Happy Father’s Day
The day is celebrated on the third Sunday of June in more than 50 countries around the world. The first celebration devoted to fathers took place on July 5, 1908, in Fairmont, West Virginia, thanks to the efforts of Grace Golden Clayton. The idea came after a mining accident that killed up to 360 men, many of whom were fathers. Her father survived and brought home injured workers for care for their wounds. Many families lost their only breadwinner in the disaster.

Happy Hanukkah Day
Happy Hanukkah Day is celebrated on December 25th, 2017. It commemorates the Maccabean Revolt of 167–164 BCE. This holiday holds a distinctive place in the history of survival. The Jews first observed the custom of lighting candles. The story goes that Judah Maccabee entered the Temple and discovered only enough ritual golden oil to last one day for the menorah’s lit candles. Miraculously, the oil burned for 8 days! Since then, Hanukkah has been observed with a great feast and special prayers. The holiday is observed by eating foods fried in oil, such as latkes or pancakes and doughnuts; fried vegetables; and jelly-filled doughnuts (resembling the old Hanukkah candles) are popular treats.”

Happy Halloween Day
The Halloween season is upon us. And while it may not feel like it here in sunny California, this Friday, October 31st, all across the country kids and adults alike will be celebrating All Hallows’ Eve in their spookiest costumes.
Halloween has evolved a lot over the years. In fact, it was originally celebrated by the Celtics as a way to honor their dead. When Christianity came along, the holiday was changed to focus on remembering saints and martyrs instead of honoring Celtic ancestors.
Over time, though, the holiday has shed its more spiritual elements and become much more about the fun side of things: dressing up in costumes, decorating your home with jack-o-lanterns and ghosts and spiders, making scary treats like “moldy” ice cream sundaes or bloody vegetable trays, and going door-to-door to collect candy.
In recent years with the help of movies like Halloween (1978) and Scream (1996) Halloween’s popularity has grown even more among adults. According to statistics from 2014 (the most recent year data is available), 68% of millennials were planning to celebrate Halloween that year! That’s up from 63% in 2011. And those numbers are only expected to grow!
Halloween Day is a day to dress up like someone else, or in everyone’s case, a zombie. But maybe you’re not dressing up and just want to show your love for Halloween? This Halloween Day t-shirt design will show the world you love Halloween Day.
